Healthy Schools and the Economic Stimulus Webinar Presentations

This webinar provided an opportunity for school administrators to learn about how funds from the economic stimulus can be used to make their schools healthier. The event featured staff from Leadership for Healthy Communities and the RWJF Center to Prevent Childhood Obesity, national programs of the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation, and the American Association of School Administrators.  Roel Gonzalez, Superintendent of the Rio Grande City Consolidated Independent School District in Texas, will also discuss his plans for using stimulus funds to create wellness centers in Rio Grande City, Texas.
