Maya Rockeymoore Cummings,  director of the Leadership for Healthy Communities (LHC) national program, appeared on C-SPAN last Friday, May 8, during the final day of the LHC's Childhood Obesity Prevention Summit.

During the interview, Rockeymoore Cummings says: "We can't do wellness from the doctor's office--it needs to be community and school based if we are going to make a difference...We really need to be thinking about, 'How do we create a system that supports wellness and has a financial driver to make sure that people are supported in their healthy choices over time and throughout their lives?' "
